Hi Reader, It's been a while since I've last sent an email but as some of you might have seen from our social media recently, we've had a bit of a relaunch with The Small Business Toolbox. I started this email over a year ago as a way for me to share my experience & learnings on building actual businesses. The internet (especially social media) is full of people who will say that entrepreneurship is about morning routines, fancy watches & Lambos but the reality is so unbelievably far from that. I wanted to provide founders & aspiring business owners with something that was missing.... The actual reality of starting a business. The type of peer-to-peer learning that you can only get from people who have actually gone through the process of starting & building business. This is exactly why I started The Small Business Toolbox but ironically (or not depending on which way you look at it) my own businesses pulled me away from this side mission. I've been heavily investing my time into The Story of Trouble which has been an amazing success but has kept me very busy. I realised I needed help to continue with my side mission to help other aspiring business owners so I've joined forces with my sister (& business partner). You will notice going forward that all material is sent out from both of us, Elle & Lawrence. There are lessons that we have both learnt on our respective journey's that we will be sharing in a short email each week. We're excited for you to be receiving & reading them! That's all for this week but if you know someone who would like help starting their business or marketing it on social media, please forward it on to a friend. It helps us to grow this little weekly newsletter and help more people. See you next week, Elle & Lawrence P.S Any time you need more help there are 3 ways we can help you.... 1. FREE - Take a look at our Instagram (making sure to read the captions) where we share our learnings about all things related to starting a business & marketing it on social media. You can find our account here. 2. FREE - Browse our resources including our blog & guides to download on our website which step you through various aspects of starting a business. Here's a link to our website. 3. The Business Manual (£20/month) - We will be launching as of April a special type of email where we breakdown a specific topic to help aspiring & new business owners. It will be a 10 minute read every 2 weeks where we will be covering breakdowns on specific subjects such as ordering stock, marketing strategies, step-by-step content creation & so much more all based of real life examples from our own businesses. The reason for this paid newsletter? It keeps our weekly emails totally free of annoying sponsors & it means as our capacity to work with others 1:1 gets stretched, we can still provide very specific help as time & cost effectively as possible for us & you! Click here if you don't want to miss an edition of The Business Manual. |

Hi Reader, It doesn't matter if your business is or isn't yet running.... we think it's really important for business owners to take a break over a Bank Holiday weekend.
